Adults

Harris Creek Adult Equipping Ministry seeks to disciple adults from their post student years through Senior Adulthood to love God passionately, love others unconditionally, and serve the world energetically. It is our desire that we participate in biblical community in all stages and areas of our Christian life.

If you have any questions concerning our adult ministries, please contact Brian Horn.

Equipping Classes

Who: Adults

When:

  • Young Married's Class (newlyweds to 5 years of marriage) – Sundays @ 10:30 am (Rm A11)
  • The Harvesters Class (70s and up) – Sundays @ 9 am (Rm A11)
  • Biblical Survey Class (all ages) – Sundays @ 10:30 am (Conference Room)
  • Women's Bible Study (women of all ages) – Sundays @ 10:30 am (Rm A7)

What: Harris Creek's Adult Equipping Classes exist to equip people through the study of God's word and prayer. The ultimate goal is to train others to "go and make disciples." As we teach people to study and understand Scripture more deeply, they will be able to take that to their areas of influence and share this truth confidently. We do this through a number of classes such as our Women's Bible Study, Men's Equipping Class, Young Marrieds Class, Harvesters Class, and Biblical Studies Class.

Life Groups

Who: Adults

When: Meet at various times throughout the week (see Life Group Finder)

What: Life Groups are the most important ministry we offer at Harris Creek. We believe there is no substitute for living "life on life" when it comes to discipleship. The purpose of our Life Groups at Harris Creek is to have people living in "Biblical Community." An easy way to understand how we define Biblical Community is through three words: Know, Grow and Go. "Know" means we invest in each other's lives by meeting together and getting to know each other. "Grow" means we study Scripture and pray to grow spiritually. "Go" means we serve together inside and outside of the church in order to live our lives on mission for God.
