Worship

The worship and media ministry exists to create an atmosphere of respect and awe for God any time two or more are gathered in Jesus’ name. Worship experiences at Harris Creek are to be contemplative and inspiring, communicating the vision of the church and equipping the body of Christ to go and serve their families, their city, and the world.

Ministry

Worship can generally be described as a response to God for what He is doing and for what He has done in our lives. Our response may be individual (i.e., personal Bible study, journaling, prayer, fasting, etc.) or corporate (congregational singing, fellowship, corporate prayer, etc.).

All of the different facets of worship are to be emphasized at Harris Creek. We believe that our corporate worship times will thrive as the congregation and leadership unite their hearts in personal devotion to Jesus Christ during life outside of corporate gathering. During weekly corporate gatherings, we as leadership will strive with intentionality to cultivate an atmosphere for the Holy Spirit to move in our hearts.

Harris Creek's worship and media ministry focuses on bringing glory to God in creative and meaningful ways. Artistry is a way God gives unique gifts to His people so that they in turn can glorify Him! When people are given an avenue to use their gifts, they experience worship in a whole new way. It is our mission to seek out and develop the gifts of artistry God has placed at Harris Creek Baptist Church.
