Children

Harris Creek Children's Ministry seeks to disciple children by teaching them to love God passionately, love others unconditionally, and serve the city energetically.  This discipleship process will continue as the children exhibit these characteristics and transition to the Youth Ministry.

If you have any questions concerning our children's ministry, please contact Emily Gist.

Sunday Mornings

At Harris Creek on Sunday mornings, we want to help kids navigate their stage of life and faith through a variety of age appropriate worship experiences.

Babies through Pre-K
9 or 10:30 am     Navig8
Through hands-on activities, games, songs, and Bible stories, preschoolers learn that God made them, God loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever.

K through 3rd Grade
9 or 10:30 am     Navig8
During Navig8 worship and small group times, kids discover how God wants to use them to be part of His story as they learn to make the wise choice, trust God no matter what, and treat others the way they want to be treated.

4th through 6th Grade
9 or 10:30 am     Corporate Worship
Preteens are encouraged to participate in corporate worship each week with their families in the Sanctuary.

9 or 10:30 am     Navig8 Small Group
During Navig8 Small Group, preteens dig deeper in Scripture through guided discussion to discover how God is shaping their character to impact those around them.

Sunday or Wednesday Evening

While parents attend Life Group on Sunday or Wednesday evenings, we want to help kids explore the Bible through a variety of age appropriate equipping experiences. RSVP for Sunday or Wednesday evening activities through your Life Group.

Babies-Pre-K
Childcare
Preschoolers will hear a Bible story, play games, and create a craft each week in addition to enjoying free play, outside time, and a snack.

K through 3rd Grade
Explore
Through media, games, and discussion, Explore introduces kids to each book or section of the Bible, provides factual information about the content, and then incorporate shands on learning to help kids remember what they hear and see and how it relates to them today.

4th through 6th Grade
Explore + Link
In addition to participating in their own Explore groups, preteens will spend part of the evening using the Group Link material created by Harris Creek to examine and apply the Sunday mornings’ sermon. Occasionally this group may also do a book study or use other material for discussion and discipleship.
