College

Harris Creek College Ministry seeks to disciple college students by teaching them to love God passionately, love others unconditionally, and serve the city energetically. This stage of the discipleship process will be completed by students who own their faith and are ready for the next step in life. If you have any questions concerning our college ministry, please contact college@harriscreek.org.

College Night of Worship Recap

Thanks to Jake Brown Productions for creating this recap video from our night of worship on Tues, November 13, 2012 at our Downtown Campus. What a great night of worship as a community! We are so grateful for everyone who helped out and made this night possible! Thank you!

Servant Leadership Team

Who: Any college-age individual

When: Applications due on April 1 (If the deadline passed, but you are interested in serving, please contact Galan Hughes)

What: As a discipleship church, we want to provide opportunities for everyone at Harris Creek--college students included--to be developed as leaders while serving in specific ministry areas at the church and in the community. Applications can be downloaded here.

Adopt-a-Student

Who: Any College-age student

When: Throughout the semester

What: This is a ministry that connects college students with families at Harris Creek. It provides our students with a chance to form deep and meaningful relationships to the Harris Creek community through a specific family, hopefully providing them a sense of security and constancy in the midst of the transitory world of college.

Life Groups

Who: Any College-age student

When: Meet at various times throughout the week

What: Life Groups are the heart of our College Ministry, following our church-wide belief that there is no substitute for living "life on life" when it comes to discipleship. The purpose of our Life Groups at Harris Creek is to have people living in "Biblical Community." An easy way to understand how we define Biblical Community is through three words: Know, Grow, and Go. "Know" means we invest in each other's lives by meeting together and getting to know each other. "Grow" means we engage in the spiritual disciplines (study Scripture, discuss how it pertains to life, pray) in order to grow spiritually. "Go" means we serve together inside and outside the church in order to live on mission with God.

If you are interested in joining a Lifegroup or would like more information, please contact college@harriscreek.org.
