Events

This may be more aptly called a “fishing and outdoors” event rather than a “camping” excursion. We will meet at Harris Creek at 4:00 pm and head to land owned by Cliff Collier about 15 minutes away. The property is off of Highway 6 in between the lake and China Spring. We will have a pond for fishing, a field for ultimate frisbee, a bar-b-que pit for food, a fire for smores, an X-box and restrooms inside for the domesticated bunch, and other fun activities. We will grill hamburgers and hotdogs for dinner. There will be a time of worship with Drew Greenway leading music and a Bible study based on a story involving water. Due to some hesitations from parents, staff, and others we will not be staying all night. We will return to Harris Creek at 11:00 pm so that students can make it home before the 12:00 am curfew.
