Transition Update - April 30, 2010

Thank you for your prayers over the past two weeks.  The Church Elders and the Staff sincerely appreciate it.  Here are a few updates regarding our pastoral/staff transition.  As always, please contact one of the Elders with any questions or comments.

Tippit Recognition and Reception – May 30, 4pm – 6pm

Please come to an all-church reception for James, Teri, Dylan, Darby and Addison on May 30th.  The HCBC Fellowship Committee is planning a great afternoon celebrating their 4.5 years of service at our church.  If you have cards or any other items of recognition, please bring them to this event.

Preaching Series

Brady will be preaching this Sunday on “Pressing Forward” from Numbers 14.  He will begin a new 5-week series starting May 9th on the “Core Values” of Harris Creek Baptist Church.  If you would like to get a head start, these core values are found under the “About” tab on this website and in our 2009 and 2010 ministry plan documents.

Please continue to direct any transition questions to our Elder Team.  Pastoral care needs or concerns should be directed to David Britt our Executive Pastor.  (Please note that David will be in Africa with the Pomales family from May 6 – 16.  During this time, please direct pastoral care needs to our Elders or to Jeff Armstrong, our Deacon Chairman.)
