Give or Receive Help
We know that a season with so many unknowns can have an adverse effect on your mental health. Anxiety, loneliness, and depression are all very real and we want to support you as best we can. If you are struggling and would like to reach out to our Pastoral Care team, please fill out the form below.
There are so many healthcare and essential business workers that are sacrificing greatly each day. With schools and daycares closed, we know that childcare is an issue. If you’re in need of childcare or if you’re able to provide childcare during this season, please fill out the form below.
We believe that stewardship is important because it’s important to God. We believe that everything is God’s--our resources, our possessions, our families, our lives--and that God has entrusted those things to us to steward well. Like all other areas of our lives, we want your Life Group to be your first line of defense when it comes to financial need. Acts 4 tells us that the earliest church shared their possessions and that there were no needy people among them because of the generosity of the followers of Jesus. Since your Life Group is your church, we always want you to start there when a financial need arises. Once you have exhausted those resources, the corporate church will then assist as we are able. At Harris Creek we have a team who helps us steward our resources as a church well. If you’re in need of financial assistance, fill out this form to begin the conversation. We'll ask for full transparency on your end in order for us to fully assess the needs and create a plan of action.
We want to do everything we can to love our neighbors who are at a greater risk of serious infection. If we can run errands or pick up groceries so that you can stay safe at home, we want to help! If you need help or if you’re willing to serve in this way, please fill out the form below.
With so much going on in the world right now, the most powerful and effective thing we can do as believers is stop and pray. We have a team of people standing by who want to pray for you. If you would like to request prayer, please fill out the form below.
This is a hectic time to bring a new baby into this world, so we want to support new moms as best we can! If you’re a new mom and you’re in need of a meal or if you’re able to provide a meal for a family of a newborn, please fill out the form below.
Need Not Listed?
Needs and opportunities are popping up all around us. If you have a need that’s not listed above or if you have a solution to a problem, please let us know! Fill out the form below and you’ll hear back from a staff member soon.
This time of social distancing does not mean we grow stagnant. We are working diligently to move several of our foundational classes to an online format, allowing you to remain involved and connected to our church body. Please check back soon for ways to sign up!
ONLINE COURSES under construction. check back soon.
We believe that church membership is important and that it matters to God. We want everyone who regularly attends Harris Creek to join as a Covenant Member. Taking this online class is the first step in that process. By the time you complete Membership Class, we want you to understand what is being asked of you and what it means to be fully committed to this body of Christ.
Life Group 101
If anything, this season has shown us the importance of getting small in a big church. Our Life Groups are mini-churches inside of our church, and we are still getting people into groups! If you're not a part of one, make sure to sign-up ASAP.
Basic Training is a way for us to equip and empower everyone who serves at Harris Creek (regardless of ministry area). By the time you complete Basic Training online, you will not only feel comfortable and confident in engaging with others about spiritual conversations, but you will also have a greater understanding of your unique personality and skill set to better serve the church.
How long will it be until we gather corporately again?
Right now, we don’t know. Each day, we’re praying for wisdom, listening to our governing authorities, and actively trying to discern the best thing for us to do as a church.
So, what does this mean for our church?
We say all the time that your Life Group is your church. Now we get to practice what we preach! For the foreseeable future, the best thing you can do is continue to meet with, study scripture with, and pray with your group on a consistent basis.
I was signed up for an upcoming event. Is that still happening?
In all likelihood, it won’t be happening in person. Our first inclination is to find ways to still host events, trainings, and meetings virtually. If there isn’t a way to make that happen, we’ll have to cancel until we’re able to gather in person again.
Is the Sunwest Campus facility being cleaned any differently?
Our cleaning crew does a great job keeping our facilities extremely clean. During this season, they have shifted to a special virus cleaning solution in an attempt to disinfect our campus. This process has been applied to the entire building and will continue for some time. In addition, Lysol has been used in key areas to further disinfect.
