The Youth Ministry of Harris Creek exists to help students take ownership of their faith.
About Youth Ministry
It is the Youth Ministry’s goal to create a ministry that helps middle school and high school students take ownership of their faith. What do students who own their faith look like? They are individuals who have an intimate relationship with God, a deep love for others, and a heart of service for the world around them. This happens when students see God’s activity in and around their lives, and they decide to participate with God in His activity.

Our Youth Ministry could not function without the support of volunteers. Our desire is to pair your giftings with the needs of the church and the community. Start the process by filling out the “Serve” form today!
apply for the intern program
At Harris Creek, we believe in discipling the next generation of leaders. This is an internship program designed to develop and equip individuals in various concentrations for ministry. Each internship, no matter the ministry concentration, will have weekly meetings with a staff member, quantifiable goals and objectives for the duration of the internship, and hands-on experience in their desired concentration.
Is there youth programming on Sunday mornings?
On Sunday mornings, Youth are invited to join families or sit with the Youth in the corporate worship gathering. We also have Youth who help lead kids on Sunday mornings, which is a great way to “Own Your Faith!” Youth meet on Sunday nights for Mountaintop.
What is the mission of harris creek youth?
Can my 6th grader come to mountaintop?
Our Youth Ministry is for 7-12th grade. Your 6th grader is invited to our pre-teen programming called “Integrate” on Sunday mornings and is invited to join us on summer trips after their 6th grade year!
What is Mountaintop?
Mountaintop is our Sunday night weekly youth gathering designed around an engaging atmosphere, a compelling time of worship and teaching, and a space for in-depth discussion in youth Life Groups. We meet Sunday nights at our Sunwest Campus from 6-8p. Come check it out and your student will see why we call it the “best night of the week”!
Do harris creek youth take any trips or go to camps during the summer?
Each summer we have Youth vs Wild, which is our annual summer discipleship trip to Noah’s Ark in Buena Vista, Colorado. Students who have finished grades 6-10 (11-12th can come as student leaders) are welcome to come on this amazing and life-changing trip. We will rock climb, hike, rappel, and go white water rafting along with having intentional time of worship, individual devotional time, and teaching in small groups. It’s the highlight of the year for our students!
