Biblical Counsel Resource
Here’s the deal
Leading other people is hard, because people are messy. Our lives are messy, our sin is messy, and the things we struggle with are messy. This page is a guide for YOU as you seek to faithfully walk alongside your group in the good and the hard of life. As you lead your Life Group and serve the people in your group, we want to help equip you to pastorally care with biblical counsel.
The list of topics on this page are not exhaustive, but hopefully a helpful foundation as you seek to care for the people God has entrusted to you! We hope this page is used to encourage, correct, and sharpen every member in your group so that we can each help each other follow Jesus.
Why we counsel from scripture
Proverbs 11:14
Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

These are difficult topics to counsel, and we don’t want you to face them alone. If you are walking through any of these topics personally or in your Life Group, make sure to loop in your College Shepherd.
