kathy davidson /// Sisterhood
Hi! My name is Kathy Davidson and I have the incredible privilege of overseeing Sisterhood, our women’s ministry here at Harris Creek. I grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and attended college at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. After graduation in 2011, I moved to Waco to attend Truett Seminary. While finishing up at Truett in 2014, I needed an internship for a class and so I started working in the Youth Ministry at Harris Creek… and I never left. I spent the next 9 years on staff at Harris Creek working with our Youth and College ministries. In 2023, I took a short “sabbatical” after the birth of our fourth child but came back on staff in the fall of 2024 for my dream job as Sisterhood director. My husband Matt and I have been married for 14 years and love getting to be on mission together, both as coworkers at Harris Creek and as parents to our 4 amazing kids, ages 10-3 (Judah, Joel, Jack, & Grace). I am passionate about prayer, writing bible studies, teaching God’s word, and helping all women understand how deeply loved they are by God. I can’t believe I get paid to do any of this; what a gift! I love you, Harris Creek.
